Exploring the Aussie tropics chasing native Sorghum species was tough, but amazing. In the Daintree Rainforest, I walked beneath ancient trees, spotted a cassowary up close, and cooled off by hidden waterfalls. Over on the Yorke Peninsula, I came across stunning Aboriginal rock paintings telling stories that go back thousands of years. Such a unique mix of wild nature and deep culture, totally unforgettable.
